WARRIORS SPEAK - SPEAKER REQUEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP)

Last Modified April 9, 2026

By submitting a speaker request and accepting the attendance of a Warriors Speak representative at your event (“Event”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Accurate Event Information

By accepting a WWP speaker, you confirm that the date, time, location, duration of the speech, and estimated audience size have been accurately provided in your request.

If any of these details change, especially speech length or a significant reduction in audience size, you agree to notify the WWP team as soon as possible. This helps ensure the speaker is prepared and the opportunity aligns with WWP’s mission.

WWP reserves the right to cancel a speaker’s attendance at your event if any change is deemed significantly detrimental to the mission, experience, or representation of WWP.

2. Cancellations and Changes

If your event is canceled, you agree to notify WWP and the scheduled speaker as soon as possible.

If the event date is changed or canceled without timely communication, and the speaker has already traveled or incurred travel expenses, you agree to reimburse WWP for associated costs. This includes, but is not limited to, transportation, lodging, and per diem costs. Exceptions will be made for cancellations due to emergencies or circumstances beyond your control that render the event impossible to carry out.

3. Speaker Conduct and Representation

WWP speakers are expected to uphold the values and mission of Wounded Warrior Project. As the host, you agree to provide a professional and respectful environment and avoid any activity that could be considered discriminatory, exploitative, or inconsistent with WWP’s standards.

4. Photography and Media

If your event includes photography or videography, you agree to share any media assets featuring the WWP speaker upon request. WWP may request access to these assets to highlight the work of its Warriors Speak team. Additionally, you further agree that you are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions for WWP to use such photos or videos to publicly showcase the event. If WWP independently captures photography or video of the speaker’s participation, we reserve the right to use such content in public communications, including but not limited to social media, websites, donor communications, and promotional materials, to further WWP’s mission.

5. No Endorsement

Participation of a WWP speaker does not imply endorsement of any political, religious, or commercial activity or organization. WWP’s involvement is intended solely to share veteran stories and support awareness of our mission.

6. Fees

WWP does not charge a fee for speaker appearances. However, we ask that your organization respects the time, preparation, and service of our speakers by providing accurate event details and clear, ongoing communication.
